The Art of Yoga and its Wonders

Yoga is a kind of discipline that is rooted in ancient India. Other people of various countries have also been inspired to do it. When it comes to “THE ART OF YOGA AND ITS WONDERS”, today it is like an international phenomenon that has successfully crossed the borders of our country and inspired everyone for the better. Other than being a physical exercise, it keeps the mind alive, fresh and joyful. According to various reports, yoga is meant to bring inner peace into the lives of all individuals who practice it adamantly and regularly. Some yoga teachers also state that yoga is such an activity that it integrates the body, mind and soul.

The Beginning of Yoga


Yoga began many, many years ago because it is said to be an ancient practice. It goes back to the Indus Valley Civilization. Hatha Yoga and Other Types


When it comes to “THE ART OF YOGA AND ITS WONDERS”, Hatha Yoga is the easiest and the most common form of yoga, especially in the west. It has a series of breathing techniques and postures which makes the body stronger and readies the mind for meditation. If you are someone who is a beginner in the field of yoga, hatha yoga is the perfect start. The second form of yoga is the Vinyasa yoga which refers to a variety of postures that improve the balancing point of the body. It also makes you physically stronger and flexible to move your body the way you want. In the beginner, the trainer tells the students to perform vinyasa yoga under suitable music which makes them flow. It improves the brain activity and strengthens their cardiovascular system as well.
The next type of yoga is the Ashtanga yoga which is very rigorous and structured. It also involves a series of sequential poses but you need to match it with breathing techniques. It is said that Astanga yoga helps you in building stamina and it is only suitable for a person after they have practiced it for a few months.
The next type of yoga is the Iyengar Yoga which is named after the great yoga practitioner B.K.S. Iyengar which focusses on precise types of alignments and it can be done with the help of blocks, straps and bolsters. It is specifically useful for those people who have unfortunately gone through some accident and wish to recover fast. There is another form of Yoga called the Kundalini Yoga which means awakening the kundalini which is situated at the base of the spine with the help of chanting and repeatedly meditating. Yin Yoga refers to long poses that invokes a sense of relaxation in the body.
